BigXII+ MIS Research Symposium
The following objectives for the Big XII+ MIS Research Symposium have been emphasized from the beginning:
- Networking among Big XII+ faculty members and Ph.D. students
- Learning about ongoing research at Big XII+ schools
- Identifying potential areas for research collaboration
- Identifying potential areas for joint funding proposals
- Providing opportunities for graduating PhD students to interact with faculty members from potential hiring institutions
- Providing a collegial environment to advance MIS research and teaching
Symposium Conventions
The conference will provide an informal setting for networking and will center around research presentations by junior faculty members and Ph.D. students. Prominent researchers from Big XII+ IS programs will attend the meetings and participate in both panels and general discussions.
